Henna Brows
Henna brows are a form of eyebrow tinting that is used to stain the skin beneath the brow hairs. The purpose of this is to cast a shadow or create an illusion of depth and fullness in the area, visually filling in any sparseness.
Henna is a natural dye made from a plant known as hina or the henna tree. It is vegan friendly and free from peroxide activators, making it a suitable option for anyone with sensitive skin.
Henna has been around since ancient Egyptian times when it was used for many purposes such as dyeing hair, clothes, fabrics and as make up.
The process for henna brows is very similar to henna coloring methods you may see in traditional Indian culture, however the shades have been formulated to cater for eyebrow tones.
Henna is painless and all-natural eyebrow tint, so your eyebrows are shaped every morning, with no need for pencils or powders. It’s also a really great way to trial a shape before you commit to permanent powder brows.

What does the henna brow process involve?
At first I will cleanse the eyebrows with micellar water, to remove makeup if any, then I will cleanse the eyebrows with brow foaming cleanser. After they are clean and dry I will do a complete eyebrow redesign by measuring the perfect shape using a brow mapping technique, that helps us to decide where exactly each element of the brow should be. It helps you to trace where the brow should begin, where it should end and where exactly it should be arched.
Once the brow mapping is completed I will outline the brow shape with brow paste and after the client is happy with the shape, I will start applying the henna tint. Together with my client I will discuss which henna colour suits her the best.
I use Henna Spa Pofessionals, that comes in 7 different colours to match client’s skin tone and hair colour. Henna Spa stains the hair as well as the skin, camouflaging gaps in the eyebrows from over-plucking. It lasts must longer than conventional tints. This henna tint do not contain any lead or ammonia and does not require hydrogen peroxide.

Henna Spa Colour Chart details all 7 colours that suit all skin tones and hair colours. This display makes it easy to determine which colour suits my client the best.
How to book your Henna Brow appointment?
For henna tinting, allergy test is required. Therefore consultation is mandatory, during which allergy test will be performed. I will apply small amount of henna on your wrist, which will be removed after 15 minutes. If there is no signs of allergy in the next 24 hours, then is safe for you to book henna brows treatment.
If you have had henna on your skin before, like on your face or body, then allergy test is not required. You can come straight for your appointment.

Please note, consultation is free of charge.
